Home group: Connecting through our differences..

As the flames of each individual candle burns brightly on its own the glow they create together in unity make for a symbolic sense of connection for our home group. Through the past few months we have gathered to explore together issues such as family and belonging, power, sexuality, white privilege to name but a few. Through these discussions our own narratives have unfolded, giving each of us an insight into our emotional worlds. As a group that is learning how be together, to sit with each other with each of our differences has been at times challenging, and uncomfortable, yet through the discomfort there has been a richer deeper understanding of our humanity. As love is the force that drives our enquiry it is also the force that keeps us connected through our discomfort and the energy that fuels our understanding of each other. We look forward to reconnecting again in September when we continue our journey together
